Contexto Unlimited
105 secret words, played in any order and as often as you like. Same ranked guesses as the daily puzzle, without waiting for tomorrow.
What Contexto Unlimited is
The daily puzzle gives everyone one shared word per day. Unlimited mode removes that constraint: it holds its own library of secret words and hands you a new one the moment you finish, give up or simply want a different puzzle.
Nothing else changes. A guess still returns its position in a ranked list of 38,437 words, hints still step from broad category to close neighbour, and the answer is still held on the server until you ask for it.
How it works
- Choose a difficulty, or leave it on Any for a mixed set.
- Type a word and press Enter to get its rank.
- Follow the low numbers — they mark the direction of the answer.
- Press Next puzzle whenever you want a fresh word.
Because your round is kept in the browser, closing the tab mid-puzzle is safe. Reopening this page puts you back on the same word with your guesses intact.
Daily or unlimited?
Play the daily puzzle when you want the shared one — everyone gets the same word, results compare directly, and the spoiler-free share text is built for that. Play unlimited when you want volume: it is the faster way to build a feel for how ranks behave, and difficulty selection lets you practise abstract words on purpose.
Many players do both — the daily first thing, then a few unlimited rounds when a puzzle goes badly and they want a rematch with the mechanic rather than the word.
Reading the ranks
The rank is a position, not a percentage. #1 is the answer; #250 means 249 words in the vocabulary sit closer in meaning than your guess did. The jump between #4,000 and #400 is enormous in practice even though both look like “far away” numbers, so track the direction of change rather than the raw size.

Tips for unlimited rounds
- Reuse a personal opening set — three unrelated broad words, always the same — so you can compare rounds.
- When a hard-difficulty word resists, guess verbs and adjectives; abstract answers often live near actions and qualities rather than objects.
- Take the closer-word hint late, not early. It costs you the discovery but rescues a round that has stalled.
- Give up deliberately. Seeing the answer and its neighbours teaches more than twenty more blind guesses.

Contexto Unlimited FAQ
How many unlimited rounds can I play?
There is no cap. Press “Next puzzle” and a fresh secret word loads immediately, with no waiting and no account.
Do unlimited puzzles use the same words as the daily game?
No. Unlimited rounds come from their own pool of secret words that is never scheduled as a daily puzzle, so practising here cannot spoil a future daily game.
What do the difficulty levels change?
Easy uses concrete everyday nouns, normal uses common but less predictable words, and hard uses abstract ideas whose neighbours are harder to picture. The ranking method is identical in all three.
Is my progress saved between rounds?
Your current round survives a refresh, and your totals — games played, games won, average guesses — build up in your browser.
Can I play unlimited mode at school or work?
That depends entirely on the network you are on. This is a normal website with no special access, so if a network filter blocks it, the game will not load.
